The rain is finally here!!This means boots, change in fashion and design that would shield you from cold. Though the weather is overcast most of the  times, I  now have sufficient pretext  to throw on many complimentary pieces simultaneously. I sported an azure style leather jacket and graffited t-shirt, pairing it with a skinny jeans.The ensemble was completed  with a pair of boots to  allow me to walk through water or mud without getting a soaker. At work, I am only limited to official wear; thus I always look forward to weekends. It is the only time I get to express who I am in a sartorial way. I love the laid back look at such times and that is what a sweat pant offers. Last Sunday I visited the Racecourse for horse-riding race which unfortunately was cancelled at the eleventh hour and I had no idea. Two weeks ago, I had the opportunity to visit the Karura forest.  First on my itinerary was exploration and secondly photography that I would share on this platform.  For those who want to discharge from daily activities and jostle of the city, Karura is a place worth visiting with plenty of magnificent scenes. Note: dress loosely or casually to enjoy the nature walk.

It took me courage to wear this high slit grey dress, I decided to get out of comfort zone. For those who are reserved and uncomfortable to show off  skin as I have, it does not mean you cannot wear such a dress at all. A tight or short(shouldn't be loose) can be worn inside to cover up.

This pair of denim short dates back to a few months back. When I bought it I was so sure I would wear it almost immediately, but that did not happen. You will be surprised to know that at times I am oblivious of how to wear some clothes. This may sound ridiculous, but it’s true. The short is a perfect example. The reason is simple; it is baggy and saggy making it impossible for someone of my body structure to pull it off with a fitting top. Eventually I figured it out how. Previously, I tackled much on how one can counteract the hot weather with bright-colored, light clothing. It may seem ironic how I would pull a sweat dress under the scorching sun, but this is still very possible. Despite the heavy fabric of the cloth am wearing, remember it’s not skin-tight but rather loose. This allows for air circulation between the cloth and my skin. Moreover, the material of the sweat dress tends to absorb sweat so the skin remains dry. Therefore, if you have that heavy, fabric outfit that you wish to wear but you feel it would go against the weather, check out for the details. Are they loose? Will they allow air to circulate leaving your skin cool and comfortable? Comfort is a very important aspect to look out for in this sunny weather.
