Old Rockies

Greetings to you all, It has been long since I posted anything here. I have been facing lots of challenges here and there, hopefully I will share them on this blog. Back to today's post. Like any other lady, I have clothes that lie in my closest and have not been worn for quite sometime not because they no longer have a purpose, it's simple ;whenever you try them on you never achieve that intended appearance. My example today is  this blouse on today's post. I always feel pressured to be creative whenever it becomes the OoTD (Outfit of The Day). It's  baggy on me with beautiful hues of blue colour and very light on the skin, thus perfect for a sunny day  like the day it was worn. I applied a girly trick of  tying it at  front and BOOM  it fitted just right around the waist.                  The blouse, skinny pant, ...

One, Many Ways

I am always interested in minor details when purchasing an outfit e.g button, pockets, fabric and the list goes on. Ladies like it when  they  have something different and unique from others, we call it standing out . It's also crucial to give priority to an item that can be worn many times but differently  especially when your budget is tight. For instance a black blazer can be worn for a job interview and at the same time be worn for a dinner date complemented with maybe a dress.   I love the fact that I can play around with this Palazo Pant to achieve any look that  I want depending on time and occasion. CROPPED

It takes a lot of effort to wear a cropped top that leaves part of your belly out for the world to see especially in a society I live in. But again there is you, that part of you that wants to experiment on something different  as a woman. For those who  still wish to own and wear a cropped top(forget about your body shape) but are afraid to do so, just look for a high-waisted bottom ( a pant or skirt ) that will help you in concealing your tummy. and voila! POLKA DOTTED KAFTAN

I regret taking too long to wear this kaftan that I bought way way back. I might have been scared or not confident enough to do so but eventually I had to let that go.
