Previously, I tackled much on how one can counteract the hot weather with bright-colored, light clothing. It may seem ironic how I would pull a sweat dress under the scorching sun, but this is still very possible. Despite the heavy fabric of the cloth am wearing, remember it’s not skin-tight but rather loose. This allows for air circulation between the cloth and my skin. Moreover, the material of the sweat dress tends to absorb sweat so the skin remains dry. Therefore, if you have that heavy, fabric outfit that you wish to wear but you feel it would go against the weather, check out for the details. Are they loose? I am reminded of nature whenever I come across a fabric with floral pattern, and the need to conserve it. One might assume that I am digressing from fashion talk but that is not the case. Fashion and nature are closely linked; Fashion in most cases exemplifies nature even without most people noticing. Our attention is easily drawn to floral pattern due to its appealing and undisputed beauty. Nature is cathartic, thus designers are allured to spend time observing vegetation and their vicinity to get inspiration aligned to their work. Happy New month to you! I owe you an apology for not posting anything here for quite some time. It’s quite challenging to balance between work, school and blogging but then it is what it is. Not to digress though, lets head over right to the post, shall we? I have never been fascinated by the color grey. The color is considered dull and the feeling is further perpetuated by how its is associated with the cloudy, rainy days, a loss or depression . Pulling off a shapeless dress requires a little more effort.  This piece is synonymous to the outdated maternity dresses that were popular among expectant women back in the days. It is scary sometimes to put on something that doesn't define one's physique. Luckily throwing a belt over such dress can do the trick most of the time as it will flatter your waistline and alter the entire look for the better. The weather has drastically changed from sunny to rainy & wet, calling for prompt alteration in dress code. Either way, this does not mean that you refrain from being stylish & sexy. Black jeggings are versatile bottoms that are wearable all year round, not forgetting how pocket-friendly they are compared to other bottoms like a pair of denim pants. On this rather sunny day, I wore mine  with an over-sized orange sweater for perfect silhouette.  It's crucial to mention that when it gets colder leg warmers or  a pair of jeans can be worn on top for warmth.
